Pearson Trueman & Associates is a sponsor of Artists for Kids Culture (AKC). AKC provides art programs, sport programs and healthy eating sessions for inner-city children from low-income families. They also pay for optical eyewear, camp attendance and many more of these children’s needs. The AKC annual art auction is held in September each year.

Shannon Trueman said she and Suzanne Pearson were thrilled to be associated with such a worthy cause.

'It is exciting to think that we can contribute to helping under-privileged young people to manifest their innermost thoughts and imagination into a finished art form,' Shannon said.

'It would be wonderful for future generations to discover another John Olsen or Giaan Rooney among these budding young adults. That is why it is so important to support the excellent work the AKC is doing in developing their education,' she added.

Victorian Bushfire Appeal

Like so many Victorians, Pearson Trueman & Associates had staff, contractors and clients, or family and friends, who were affected by the devastating 2009 Victorian bushfires. Pearson Trueman & Associates donated $10,000 to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund through the Australian Red Cross and arranged a collection of clothes, blankets, towels, toys and non-perishable foods to be donated through the local Salvation Army Family Store and the Salvation Army Food Bank.
